Life with God should be fun and adventurous.  God has an amazing plan for your life, and it involves relationships, places, works, family, excitement and more.  Maybe it’s hard for you to believe that when considering your current situation.  But don’t worry about that.  Today can be the first day of the rest of your life (I say that to myself all the time when I’m feeling down).  The key is that we just need to focus on our relationship with God so we can start listening to His directions for our lives.  We can develop an exciting existence for God's Kingdom. Sure, God wants church to be a big part of our lives.  By church, I don’t necessarily mean the building where you go to sing songs to God or hear a teacher.  I really mean the group of believers God wants in your life.  You may find that group at a local building.  You may start volunteering for some of the projects at that building.  You may go places with those people....

Today I will begin teaching how Christians should dominate the world around them, and how Christians should dominate the world at large.  As with most of our topics, this is multifaceted and potentially complicated.  However, I believe we can keep it simple, learn some actionable truth, and move forward into what God really has for us.  We are going to talk about this idea of dominating the world both as it applies to the world at large and to our individual lives.  We also need to set up some important ideas here.  I want to give you the big picture to help you understand all of this and start applying it to your life.  I can’t just hit you with a few verses and expect you to start walking this out. Last week we discussed the secret to inner peace and how to have true inner harmony within yourself.  As you may recall I focused on the relationship between our born again human spirit, which is perfect before God in every way, and our soul (mind, will and emotions).  I believe that if we can succeed internally then we will begin to succeed externally.  I also believe that having a unified experience of self, if you will, where your spirit, soul and body are in harmony, is a master key to experiencing all that God has for your life. I want to take a few minutes today and talk about how to stop sinning and start obeying God in every area of your life.  I hate talking about sin, but I love talking about obeying God, and you will see why.
