Our Beliefs on Christianity in General -

We believe Christianity is the only religion which provides mankind with full access to God. The Judeo-Christian God is the only living God.  All other God's are idols.  God originally established Judaism with Abraham the Hebrew and his descendants. Eventually God blessed all people of the earth through Abraham's seed, Jesus Christ. When a person accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they are born again. This means that the person's spirit is now born of God, and they literally are born again into God's family. As born-again Christians we are the sons and daughters of God. God loves all people, but Jesus only gives His believers the power to become the children of God. Only Christians have full access to the Spirit of God, which lives in them along with their reborn spirit. No man comes to God but by Jesus.

Our Beliefs on Salvation -

We believe that all people will spend eternity with either God or the devil. All people are born in sin because of the sin of the first human, Adam. Regardless of that fact, no person has lived without once lying, stealing, hating, or breaking another one of God's laws.  We should all die and spend eternity in hell, because the wages of sin is death. But God so loved the world, that He put Himself in human form in His Son Jesus Christ, and He came to Earth. Jesus lived the only life in history that conformed perfectly to God's laws. He then went to the cross and allowed Himself to be murdered unjustly. But this was all part of God's plan. Jesus knew He had to die so that He could sacrifice Himself for our sins.  Jesus took our sin and gave us His righteousness, to save us from our sins. After His physical death He went to hell and took the keys to hell and death. God then raised Him from the dead. He returned to earth for a while, and now He sits on the right hand of God, ever living to work for our behalf. If one confesses with their mouth that Jesus is their Lord, and believes in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, then that person receives salvation. That person receives righteousness and that person will spend eternity in paradise with God.

Our Beliefs on Holiness -

We believe that without holiness no man shall see God. The Hebrews were given laws by God that governed most aspects of their lives. No man but Jesus perfectly obeyed all these laws. Those who accept Jesus not only receive salvation, but also divine ability to live and abide perfectly by the laws of God. The Holy Spirit empowers Christians to fulfill all the commandments of God. We are now empowered to be Holy as our Father in Heaven is Holy. We believe holiness means having one's heart and actions in line with God's will.  God gives us His Word so that we can know His will and His commandments.  God gives us His Spirit which empowers us to understand His Word and hear His voice.  God pours His love into our hearts, for all the commandments of God really involve love, both for God and mankind.  God gives us everything we need to live holy and without blame before Him.  Jesus said that those who love Him keep His commandments.  All who truly love God will do what He says and live Holy before Him.  Anything that transgresses God's laws is sin.  All sin is wrong.  We are empowered to live without sin.  This should be our goal.

The Love Revolution

Recently I read a new book by Joyce Meyer, the Love Revolution.  I must say that it is fantastic.  It discusses the Christian duty to love and gives inspiration and education on the subject.  Joyce wisely teaches us more about love and how to love.  But really, Joyce doesn't just want us to read a book, she wants a revolution, one that I can proudly say I've joined. I don't think we can overstate the importance of love to Christians.  Jesus said that by our love for each other people would recognize us as Christians.  Jesus said that the two most important commandments are for us to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength, and for us to love our neighbor as ourselves.  Then Jesus gave us a new commandment, enhancing the second one above, that we should love people as Christ loved us.  Christ sacrificed Himself so that we could be saved and have better lives, only because He loved us.  Therefore we must also learn to sacrificially love others.  Furthermore, the

Looking At What Can't Be Seen

Everyone understands that a huge portion of physical reality can’t be seen with the human eye.  Perhaps most importantly, we can’t see the air we breathe.  Isn’t that amazing, we can’t even see something that our bodies depend on constantly.  This natural realm, all that consists of what we might perceive with our physical senses, contains many other important substances we can’t see.  But there is another entire realm that we can’t see or perceive with our natural senses, the spiritual realm.  I know even the phrase “the spiritual realm” sounds weird and you’re thinking about skipping this teaching, but the importance of spiritual reality cannot be overstated.  The spiritual realm is actually the higher realm, the more important realm, with authority and power over the natural realm.  Even a basic understanding of the spiritual realm will dramatically improve your life and faith journey. Integrating Your Christianity and Secular Personal Growth

A few years ago I drove down to South Florida to visit some clients for a few days.  My wife (Shannon) suggested that I check out this marriage podcast called Rise Together by Rachel and Dave Hollis.  I realize Rachel Hollis is now a controversial figure, but this was before all that happened, and that podcast had a profound impact on me.  Between the drives to Key Largo and back, I listened to all of the episodes (there were only around 10 back then) and I received my personal introduction to the idea of personal growth.  (And before we move on yes I do realize that was a marriage podcast from a couple who are now divorced.)  So I started listening to various podcasts on personal growth and related issues.   Then about a year ago I was driving with some friends in Texas when we decided to listen to an episode of the All-In Podcast.   That podcast features four billionaires and friends discussing financial markets, political issues, and various other subjects.   I found it fascinatin
