God is the only way to your best possible life.

God created everything including you down to the DNA and atomic levels.  God knows everything about you, your strengths, your nature, what brings you up and what pulls you down.  (Psalm 139:13-17)

God has also designed an amazing life for you, which includes countless things for you to do that will bless you and the world around you (Jeremiah 29:11).  Your destiny is not some singular moment or event, but a lifetime of good works for the Kingdom of God.

There is a union between who you are, down to your very DNA in combination with your relationship with Christ, and these good works God has planned for you (Ephesians 2:10).  The good works your Creator planned for you are the secret to inner peace and fulfillment.  The combination of you and your good works is literally a match made in Heaven.

The highest expression of your life can only be discovered in your relationship with God (Ephesians 4:13).  As you grow personally and in this relationship, He reveals His plans for your life.  In fact, they are a protected secret until you are ready to walk in them and understand them through the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 2).  God’s good works operate to further develop you, bless you, bring Godly relationships to your life, and fulfill you.  (Examples in my life are Schools for Haiti and Grace Family Church.)

A unity of existence and action is available to you.  This unity is the highest possible expression of you and your life.  This unity is the intersection of who you really are with what you should really do.  Only God, who created both, can lead you there, and He wants to do so (Again, 1 Corinthians 2).

The way to start this journey is Matthew 6:33 – “Seek first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness.”  We must seek God’s Kingdom and righteousness both inside ourselves and in the world around us.  God will lead us and develop our lives internally and externally.  You will find this union, and you will experience one of God’s greatest gifts.

The Love Revolution

Recently I read a new book by Joyce Meyer, the Love Revolution.  I must say that it is fantastic.  It discusses the Christian duty to love and gives inspiration and education on the subject.  Joyce wisely teaches us more about love and how to love.  But really, Joyce doesn't just want us to read a book, she wants a revolution, one that I can proudly say I've joined.
