You Can Dominate Anything That Would Come Against You

In this world Christians have many enemies.  The devil hates us.  His many unclean spirits attack us.  The world’s systems, largely influenced by the devil, work against God and His ways.  Sin and sickness war against our souls and our bodies.  It’s totally understandable if you meet a Christian who is broke, busted and disgusted.

But how many problems should we actually suffer?  How often should we be overcome and defeated?  What does Psalm 34:19 even mean?  “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.”

Christian, you are not called to defeat but to victory (1 Corinthians 15:57).  You are not called to be overcome, but to overcome (1 John 4:4).  A born-again Christian baptized in the Holy Spirit has

* The miracle working power of God (Acts 1:8)

* The mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16)

* All the treasures of wisdom and knowledge (Colossians 2:3)

* A spirit of power, love and wisdom (2 Timothy 1:7)

* An inheritance which includes all of God’s promises (Hebrews 6:12)

* The very faith of the Son of God (Galatians 2:20)

* The Spirit of God dwelling inside of you (Ephesians 1:13)

* The righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21)

* The power to get wealth through God’s financial promises and system (Deuteronomy 8:18)

* The stripes Jesus bore for you so your physical body can be healed (1 Peter 2:24)

* A guaranteed eternity with God in paradise (See Revelation 21)

* And so much more!

Yes it’s true, darkness covers the earth.  The world is filled with evil that would attack you and stop you from doing your good works and receiving all that God has for you.  There are also lots of people that believe we are called to defeat.  But we must rise above all of this and the lies the devil has taught us.

We must rise and shine with the glory of God we have received (Isaiah 60:1-2).  We must show the world the glory of God through all that He has done in our lives.  Look at all that God has done for us!  What are we capable of?  What would the world look like if we all, through God’s direction and empowerment, did our good works (Ephesians 2:10)?

You can have all that God has provided for you.  No devil or earthly problem can stand against you.  God wants you to have His promises more than you do.  You can take all that God has given you and war against the kingdom of darkness in the world around you.  You are called to show God’s love and glory to this world.
